da 888casino: With Romelu Lukaku signing for Manchester United, Alvaro Morata is the most logical alternative for Chelsea.
da wazamba: He may lack the Belgium international’s potent supply of goals but the Spain international is clearly a talented player, one who Antonio Conte signed once before during his time at Juventus, and amongst the slender group of top-class forwards readily available this summer.
That, however, depends on whether Chelsea are prepared to match Real Madrid’s alleged £78.73million (€90million) asking price for the 24-year-old – which seems pretty steep considering he’s not even a regular starter at the Bernabeu.
And according to our recent poll, the vast majority of Blues supporters wouldn’t their club to pay that sum for Morata, with 70% of those who took part rating him at £70million or less. And it’s likely some of those who voted for the £70million-£80million bracket wouldn’t be happy with that sum either.
Clearly, the majority of Chelsea fans would prefer their club to look elsewhere but options are running out as the transfer window drags on. Which striker would you like to see arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer Blues supporters? Let us know by commenting below!
