da prosport bet: Napoli’s highly rated defender Kalidou Koulibaly is a man in demand.
da casino: While Arsenal and PSG are interested in securing the 24-year-old’s signature this summer, Chelsea are the front runners, with incoming boss Antonio Conte said to be keen on bringing Koulibaly to the Bridge next season.
The Senegal international himself is also been open about his desire to move to England – even coming under scrutiny from Napoli patron Aurelio De Laurentiis for the manner in which he’s handled his potential departure.
In fact, according to reports from Inside Futbol, Laurentiis is ‘angry’ at Koulibaly and willing to sue Chelsea over damages caused to Napoli if the southwest London club are indeed behind the defender’s actions.
“The player has 3 more years left on his contract and will not move from here, and will pay a hefty fine. I’m not angry so much with him, but I amazed because I think the guy is above average.”
“I did not think that he betrayed the contract on image rights. I had calls from twenty sponsors who were signing with us and have pulled back because the image Koulibaly has put out, and lost credibility. All of this will fall on the player, poor fellow. He probably will have to pay a few million euros to Napoli in the coming years.”
Where it leaves the Blues, who knows. However, the centre-back is certainly one of the most talented young defender’s in Europe, so here’s why Chelsea should step up their interest in the former Racing Genk star…..
Built for the Premier League
Standing at a colossal 6”5 tall, Koulibaly would have no problem adapting to the physicality of the Premier League. Much like Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma, Koulibaly has both the physique and ability to cope with the demands of English football.
Replacement for Terry
At only 24 years of age, the Senegalese defender is a signing for now as well as the future. Koulibaly would certainly sure up Chelsea’s back line during the coming campaign but could also for many years to come if the right deal is struck.
Napoli Fall Out
It may seem like trouble, and some would argue that Chelsea should avoid the whole thing with a barge pole. However the fall out with current club Napoli could fall into the Blue’s hands. With Koulibaly and club both unhappy, Chelsea could swoop in and grab themselves a steal.

Ability on the Ball
Known for being a ball-playing centre back, Koulibaly could become one of the new generation of centre half’s that are able to play out from the back. Being able to build from the defence is becoming a bigger part of the game today, and it is one of the Senegal international’s key attributes.

Silverware
Chelsea could lure Koulibaly to the Bridge with the promise of both European football and silverware next season. Yes, it was a poor season for the Blue’s last time out and Napoli have already qualified for Champion’s League football, but with Juventus dominating Italian football, silverware is unlikely at his current club.
