Celtic survived a second-half scare to make it six Scottish Premiership wins in a row following the winter break with a 3-2 victory at Aberdeen.
The Hoops appeared to be on their way to another straightforward three points after Jota and Matt O’Riley put the visitors 2-0 up at the interval.
However, goals from Christian Ramirez and Lewis Ferguson brought the hosts level in the space of five second-half minutes before Jota grabbed what proved to be the winner shortly after.
We’ve used statistical experts SofaScore to analyse who the three worst Hoops outfield performers (to have played at least 45 minutes) were, in what was far from an easy night for Ange Postecoglou’s side.
In total, these three players lost the ball a whopping 38 times, were second best in 10 aerial and ground duels and made just one tackle between them all evening.

Daizen Maeda – 6.5/10
First up is Maeda, who was moved back into a central role by Postecoglou with Giorgos Giakoumakis dropping out of the side – it did not work.
The January signing was Celtic’s worst outfield starter with a rating of 6.5/10. The forward failed to register a shot on goal, had just 24 touches and lost possession nine times.
He also lost four of his five duels and completed just seven passes before being withdrawn after 76 minutes.
Reo Hatate – 6.6/10
Fellow January arrival Hatate was also replaced with Maeda and had a rare night to forget in a Celtic shirt.
The midfielder, who has been a revelation at Parkhead, lost half of his 10 duels and gave possession away on 17 occasions. Hatate made just one tackle all evening, failed to register a key pass and committed two fouls.
Cameron Carter-Vickers – 6.7/10
Last up is Carter-Vickers, who was the worst-rated performer out of Postecoglou’s back four.
The centre-back ended with a 6.7/10 match rating and failed to make a tackle, interception or block a shot at Pittodrie. Carter-Vickers also lost three duels and gave the ball away 12 times.
All in all it was a night to forget for three of Celtic’s better players, so perhaps the cup clash with Raith Rovers will offer the manager a chance to afford them some rest, rotating in some young and fringe players.
