The Verdict: More needed
Wober will be able to provide competition at centre-back and left-back and has been hailed as a “leader” by Christoph Freund. He has worked under Jesse Marsch before too, so a transfer seems to be a solid starting point.
However, more is required at Elland Road.
A new striker could be extremely beneficial with Patrick Bamford failing to score a competitive goal in 2022, missing large parts of the year through injury.
That will hopefully be the club’s next main focus, and the sooner they can get their January business done, the better it could be for the club’s chances of survival.
